What Causes Swelling In The Hand After Receiving An Injection?
i believe that I missed my shot yesterday. The whole top of my hand is swollen but I don t think it is an abscess because everything that I ve looked up doesn t match. I am on here because I want some other opinions before I go to the er. Please help!

It could be local contusion.
As of now you can use analgesics/anti-inflammatory combination like aceclofenac/serratiopeptidase for symptomatic relief.
If symptoms persist, it is better to consult a physician and get evaluated.
