What Causes Swelling In The Hands And Muscle Spasms Under The Ribs?
My hands are swelling and my right hand is stiff and I am having muscle spasms in it and under my ribs. Legs are hurting and I am having muscle spasms in my legs at night. Having trouble sleeping. Slept 2.5 hrs last night and I am already taking Sertraline and I m afraid to take tramadol with this medication. I have high blood pressure and am on Edarbi and nefedipine. I also have arthritis and fibromyalgia. Which medication is causing muscle spasms and my head to shake?

We have to rule out possible causes like costochondritis.
As a first line management you can take analgesics like paracetamol or aceclofenac for pain relief.
