What Causes Swelling In The Hands And Poor Vision?

My friend had what seemed to me to be a heart attack a couple of weeks ago. (He was sure Maalox was what he needed.) Then his hands started swelling and skin breaking. Urgent care told hime it was dehydration, but I m pretty sure he didn t mention any other symptoms. Now his hands are swelling again, and he is having trouble with his vision. He s very stubborn, So I can t get him to worry his wife by getting her to take him to the doc. Any advice?

Hi,

Swelling, also known as edema, can happen anywhere in the body. It's commonly seen in the hands, arms, feet, ankles, and legs. Swelling occurs when extra fluid gets trapped in your body's tissues. Several things can cause this, including heat, exercise, or medical conditions.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
