What Causes Swelling In The Knuckle And Small Finger After Playing Tennis?
I m a 55yr old male in excellent shape. I play competitive tennis 3-4 times a week. While playing in a match last Wednesday, I immediately noticed after a hitting a forehand my hand begin to ache. The top of my hand, knuckle in-between my middle and pinky finger is swollen. The swelling has persist for a week. Any thoughts?
As you explain the situation better to do an X ray of the finger to exclude any fracture .If it is negative than it is only a compression of the finger and let it heal itself.
Regards
Dr.Jolanda
