What Causes Swelling In The Left Foot?

Hi. My left foot is always puffy. It is more puffy when sitting for long periods. And the summer heat affects it as well. No pain or redness. My right foot is normal. I had it checked by 2 doctors several years ago and neither had an answer for it. Soaking in cold water helps. Should I be concerned?

Tell me your age? Are you on any medicines for Blood pressure or sugar?
Keep your left foot elevated on a stool or pillow. Cold water soaking will not help. At times we need to get doppler studies of left leg done to rule out more serious problem like blockage of arteries or veins of left leg. Yes it is a cause of concern, you can't take it lightly
