What Causes Swelling In The Leg After An Open Heart Surgery?
yes, thank you,My mom is 83 years old and had open heart surgery last year in april. The surgeon took one of the veins from her leg to replace in the heart. She has been experiencing swelling and very tough skin on the leg, also a rash all over the back, arms and legs.

this is normal procedure for angiography. leg part can be treated by dressing and it will heal. can apply cold compression.
