What Causes Swelling In The Legs After Taking Antibiotics For UTI?

I have finished two courses of antibiotics for urinary tract klebsiella pneumoniae. Although the doctor states I no longer have the infection I have increased swelling in my leg. I have a history of dvt. The leg is naturally swollen but now is more swollen. What would you recommend?

Hi
Went through your history which is well informative, usually two weeks treatment is sufficient to cure urinary tract infection and urinary infection it self does not cause swelling unless it involves kidney which is called pylonephritis, you have history of DVT in past usually DVT occur in one limb and rarely involve both legs if you have only one leg involved go for a venous doppler of that limb.
I find this answer helpful
