My moms age is 76 her blood test shows the bilirubin lebilvel as 2.3 and the doctor advised a ct scan Her cholesterol level sugar and all is within limits There s swelling in her legs ( both) Right no restrictions on salt intake eventhough doctor advised to avoid it Pl advise

I would like to advise you few investigations before I could arrive at a diagnosis renal function test,ECG,chest xray,liver function test.
lesix 20 may provide relief,salt restriction will help leg elevation should be avoided unless a cardiac failure is ruled out, rest treatment depends on the findings
