What Causes Swelling In The Lymph Node Of A Pregnant Woman?
My wife has a swelling in the lymph node on her neck. When aspirated and examined it was revealed to be TB. Also it was revealed that it was immune to RIMAFACIN. However she is showing no signs of fever, or pain or any of such other symptoms associated with the same. She is pregnant and currently 1 month 12 days old. Can you suggest the course of action to be taken?

Tuberculosis can present with varied symptoms, it can be often asymptomatic also.your wife need to take ATT for about 9-12 months under regular doctor supervision as she is pregnant. You need regular counselling and monitoring regarding the sideeffects of drugs and safety of child.
