What Causes Swelling In The Right Arm And Pain In The Neck?
My father s right arm just sudden swollen within today. He is complaining of the back of his neck hurting and his shoulder blade hurting and he had a nose bleed early today. He has history of heart attacks and stokes. What do you think might be going on with him?

Hello,
I think his situation is related to cervical spine issue probably a bulging disc or cervical stenosis also causing inflammation of nerve roots that come out of the cervical spine.
This is why the neck and shoulder are swollen and hurting. I recommend him to do an x-ray of the neck or better an MRI.
