Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I have swelling in my scrodum on the left side with some discomfort--no sharp pain, no nausea, but I cannot push it back in at this point--not sure how hard to push or if i m pushing a testicle in due to the swelling. I had double hernia repair in 2011. Any suggestions?--Dave YYYY@YYYY
Common causes of scrotal swelling are- Inguinal Hernia Hydrocele Testicalar hematoma post injury Epididymo-orchitis (Inflammation of testes)
I would recommend visit to a doctor and getting your swelling thoroughly checked, an Ultrasound is also advisable to get an accurate and early diagnosis.
Hope this answers your question, Thank you
