What Causes Swelling In The Vagina After Intercourse?

why would a womens vagina swell up after sex, while she is pregnant. we went to the hospital and they said they never seen anything like it. gave her a benadril and ice pack and sent her home. shes 15 weeks and 4 days along and this is her first baby.

hi. is there any injury during intercourse? is it painful and red? if no then don't worry. if yes then take safe antibiotic after consulting. thank you. regards
