What Causes Swelling Of Body After Drinking Water?
i am sixty eight .undergone smple mastectomy in 1995 .am under medication fqr hashi motor disease suffering from osteo arthrtis also.for the past three moths my body especially feet show painless swelling profuse urinaton at night,the swelling gets worse if i drink sufficiant water .muscular cramps better on taking salted rce water. recently iconsulted a doctor tshr n the norma range blood sodIum 136mg pottasium level nqrmal.h.b12per cen the swellng gets worse from daytoday what am i to dot
Hi, Thanks for asking. Based on your query, my opinion is as follows. 1. Collection of fluid in lower limbs, is due to hypothyroidism possibly. 2. It is mostly cardiac cause secondary to hypothyroidism. 3. In lying down position, limb elevation within 2-3 pillows, above level of heart will reduce edema. Due to this, increased urination is going to be seen during night. 4. Additionally diuretics like frusemide will also be useful. 5.
