What Causes Swelling Of Feet Post Thyroidectomy?

Since last October, I quit smoking and had a thyroidectomy. I have the type of thyrooid that kept me at 104 pounds, Since then when I wake up in the morning my feet are very swollen and it is difficult to walk, Have you heard of that? It worries my husband and tomorrow I have a 1:15 pm appt with him. What could it be - judt an educated guess guess, I am basically freaking out. Thank you, I am 61 years old.

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,

Vitals and electrolyte to be checked! Medication is needed, don't get anxiety as this stress may be cause of more disharmony in body and mind! Join meditation workshop, it's great help in withdrawal related things, continue medicine.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Sunny Madar, General & Family Physician
