What Causes Swelling Of Forearms After Taking Ibuprofen And Codeine ?

Hello... i underwent a frenuloplasty yesterday and have since been taking painkillers. I have noticed after taking the recommended quantities of ibuprofen and codeine that my forearms feel swollen (as they would do after lifting weights), except this feeling hasn t subsided for several hours... is this a known side effect or perhaps a result of the operation or should i be concerned?

ibuprofen and codeine does not cause localized swelling .usually during surgical procedure ,Various other medications like antibiotics and fluids are administered IV route. so it may cause local swelling but it does not require specific treatment. Ibuprofen will manage these symptoms
