What Causes Swelling Of Hands And Feet?

My feet and my hands swelled up and every joint in my body hurt and i could barley pick my legs up to walk. I went to 2 different emergency departments. it was not my heart or kidneys so i was treated for the swelling and stiffness. the doctor also ruled out rheumatiod arthritis lou garret disease beings there is no pain with it. i am anemic now and have never been. the doctor who saw me that day said i should be tested for lupus

it seems that you have a rheumatological disease which should be investigated & you have to inform your doctor about any strange symptom with joint pain (like diarrhea , mouth ulcers , rash , eye problem ,,, etc .
