What Causes Swelling Of Lower Lip And Small Spots With Pus?

Iam 23 years old today I woke up with swelling of my left lower lip. I had done scaling of my tooth yesterday so I was suggested to take metronidazole from day before yesterday's night.. Yesterday morning there was some kind of small dots filled with pus I guess was formed below my left side of lower lip.. Is it because of the drug Iam taking?

If it happens you should consult your dentist and get your medicine changed..
