What Causes Swelling Of Tonsils Along With Pus?
I have swollen tonsils with puss coming out of them. I've never had this problem before. I'm taking amoxicillin but the father I get into curing my infection my gums hurt more and more. I haven't eaten in 2 days simply because I can't swallow and barely talk. What should I do?

Hi, you seems to having acute infection of tonsils and pus formation in the tonsillar crypts. Please use antiseptic gargles frequently along with Tab. Augmentin 1gm twice daily along with analgesics and b complex. A throat swab along with culture sensitivity should be take before starting antibiotics. A specific antibiotic can be used after the culture report. Regards
