What Causes Swelling On Forehead And Eye Discolouration After Head Injury?

Hi I fell off my beach cruiser last Friday and hit my left side very hard including my head. I had a huge goose egg like on my forehead. I had no signs of concussion, and it s been a week now. My left eye is black and blue and my swelling has gone down. I still have a small quarter size egg on the same spot. Doesn t hurt like it did last week but doesn t seem to be disepating much yet. Feels like fluid and soft sorta. Help?

Thanks for your query. I have gone through your query.
The black discoloration along with swelling is secondary trauma. The trauma has resulted in ecchymosis(bleeding in soft tissues) giving a bluish black color to the overlying skin. The swelling can be because of the fractured bone. So consult a oral maxillofacial surgeon and get it evaluated. You need to get a radiograph done to confirm the diagnosis. Mean while you can take anti inflammatory drugs like serratiopeptidase.
I hope i have answered your query. Take care.
