What Causes Swelling On The Area Of Injection Site?

Hi I got embryo transfer today I took my gestone progesterone injection half hr ago and where I injected it s all swollen like I got a bee sting but bigger... And stinging also. I m on the injections 8 days. Could u advise me please for my clinic is closed now

It could be an allergic reaction to the medication or even an improper method of injection. In either case you need to check yourself back to a clinic or hospital for the appropriate management. If you experience worsening of the swollen area, trouble breathing or severe itching then get to an Emergency room or call an ambulance. Please take care.
