My father-in-law was rushed to the hospital with dizziness. Xrays showed swelling of the base of the brain. They transported him to a level 1 facility. They are saying a stroke. Does that make sense? They are performing an MRI right now. What should we expect next?
Hi thank you for querry, stroke may involve any part of the brain either its hemorthagic or infarctive depends the arterial supply which involve cause the damage on respective area it may inolve the base of brain pontine hrmorrhage is there, some time CT sacan not give proper clue but MRI is better choice. After MRI report it will be finally diagnosed either its ICB or infarct. Hope the answer will help you to understand the situation
