I've been dealing with my teeth for awhile I'm scheduled to get them all removed in June. In April my face swelled up bad an I had an abscess tooth. I took antibiotics an it went away now today I noticed a white jelly looking bubble below the tooth an I pushed on it an stuff shot out of it. I'm really scared what do I do. Last time it was in same spot an the puss came out in the same excag spot but my chin an stuff is staring to swell also
Swelling of the face along with a white jelly like bubble over the gum of the hat discharges pus is due to the tooth abscess only that is showing up on the gum.. Due to pus formation the pus accumulates in the soft tissues under the gums and it leads to a painful pus filled lump over the gum.. The infection is not yet treated, it is leading to increase in pus accumulation and swelling.. So first of all you should consult a Dentist and get evaluated. A course of antibiotics like Augmentin and anti-inflammatory painkillers like Ibuprofen and serratiopeptidases will be advised to you.. It will control infection and once the infection gets better, you should immediately get the tooth treated.. To drain of the pus and control infection faster, the dentist can also do an Incision and Drainage..
Hope this helps..
Regards.
