What Causes Swelling On The Feet And Ankles While On Amlodipine?

I have been taken Amlodipine 5 gm twice a day for 3 weeks and have swelling in my feet and ankles, Is this harmful i also have flush face, and feet get warm when i always have had cold feet. I am taking for High Blood pressure and it works for that. My Doctor has also said he could change it to Spironoace is this good or not.

Hi. I have gone through your query.Your symptoms suggest a side effect of Amlodipine.You need to stop Amlodipine and take another medicine.Consult your Doctor.
