General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi
Thanks for posting your query on HCM
I have read and understood your concern.Sorry to hear you has an accident.
If a fracture or rupture ligaments have already been eliminated, then your pain and swelling are just normal tissue responses to injury. Symptoms will subside progressively.I will advise you try the following:
-Continue with ibuprofen as prescribed
-Placement of ice packs
-Rest well
-Local pain gel like voltaren gel
If symptoms persist, you see the Doctor to change your pain drug to a more powerful line.
Hope this will help. You may write back if more concerns.
Wish you a speedy recovery
