What Causes Swelling On The Left Calf After A Knee Injury?

I have MCTD an autoimmune disorder, I am 61, I am experiencing a swollen calf, on my left leg. I injured my left knee about 6 weeks ago (possible hyperextension) slowly been getting better. Past two days I have been experiencing the swollen calf..... not sure whats going on... Happens in the evening after work is better in the morning.

Hello
As you have mentioned you have mixed connective tissue disorder and now have swelling of left calf.
I would suggest you to go for a venous doppler of your involved limb as you may have deep venous thrombosis and is known to occur in people with MCTD if they are APLA positive.
