What Causes Swelling On The Right Side Of The Neck After A Colonoscopy?
Hi. I just finished having a colonoscopy about 5 hours ago. I woke up from a nap with alot of swelling on the right side of my neck, just under the jaw line. Is this related to the procedure, or is it unrelated? My pain scale seems to be intensifying to about a4.

It may just be a coincidence and not related to colonoscopy.It may be a skin reaction to an irritant, an insect bite or it may be a lymph node.I will suggest you take an anti-inflammatory like ibuptofen and observe.If swelling persist, you see the Doctor for examination and investigation.
