What Causes Swelling On The Ring Finger?

My ring finger on left hand is swollen... it was my whole hand a couple days ago bit it s now just that finger. It s puffy & feels like liquid in there. Why would this only be on 1 finger & what could it be? It s like a whole size bigger than my other ring finger.
