After while they started swelling, than thumb got swallen and two outside toes got swolen after couple of months. After that the whole foot got swallen to the hight of a sock and on the inside of the foot above hill I get swelling during the day but over night it recedes to about normal. The overall situacion seems to be recedind but I am wondering if there is a way to assist this receding becouse I have problem wearing shoes. Born 1948 but all my blood and other findings are witheen normal. With regards! Mirko Oplanic

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

I think the swelling and pain may be simply related to tendinitis. Overuse, physical exercising and increased activity may be causing the issue.
I think you may need to avoid these activities, have rest and use anti-inflammatory drugs such advil or acetaminophen for pain.
It may need some days to get better.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
