Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I went to bed with a slight swollen partial upper lip. This morning I woke up to the left cheek and upper lip completely swollen. During the course of the day it has shifted to my upper lip and left and right cheek/jawbone. I have been online but have no other symptoms. I have tried benedryl and icing to not avail. What should I do? I have no known allergies and I am a 56 year old male.
- Apply petroleum jelly on lips and drink plenty of water.
Visit oral and maxillofacial surgeon once and get it examined if symptoms keeps on persisting and get it examined and start treatment after proper prescription.
Hope your concern has been resolved.
Get Well Soon.
Best Wishes, Dr.Harry Maheshwari
