What Causes Swelling Sensation In My Feet And Lower Legs?

I was borderline preclamptic during my pregnancy and had SEVERE swelling ... over 50 lbs of fluid retention . It has been two years since delivery and I still experience the swelling sensation in my feet and lower legs. My feet feel tight , tingly and also a burning sensation. My legs themselves feel tired and heavy to the point of painful . I feel like I have to constantly move them . Behind my knees tend to be one of the more painful spots.

Thak you for asking!
Preeclampsia makes the albumins loss so severe that it leads to edema and it takes time to get back to normal physiology. If you still have an issue with edem, then get your renal functions checked, 24 hours urinary proteins estimations and serum albumin and globulin levels to sort out what is wrong. Needs work up. Some time preeclampsia leads to a renal compromise.
Take care
