What Causes Swellingand Tenderness Around The Finger Nail?
My finger is swollen around the finger nail and my finger nail is black and fell off on the side. when the nail grows it grows funny and then breaks off. the finger is tender to the touch I have seen my doctor about 8 months ago. He thought it was a fungail infection. I was on an antibiotic for three months but it hasn t helped. It has got worse since then

stop using antibiotics as they worsen fungal infections, try ketoconazole topical cream for the affected area
