What Causes Swelling,blood Clots And Contusion In Right Leg?

My boyfriend had heart surgery to clean out abcess and replace valve. Before surgery he had blood clots and contusion on his right lower leg. He has now been on vanco 3 weeks they say for his heart. He is doing well except for his r. Leg is still very swollen.Is there anything u can suggest, He had the heart surgery july 24th

He may be having the blood clot in the major vessels of the right leg and needs proper care from a Vascular Surgeon. Doppler will help in this regard to see if there is a compromised blood supply to the area.

He may also be having cellulitis due to that there is swelling.

Lymphatic blockage may also cause unilateral swelling.
