What Causes Swelling, pain And White Bumps In Vaginal Area?

My left labia majora is swollen and it hurts a lot when i walk or touch it or even do anything. There are little white bumps in the red area (about the size of the end of a needle) they burn when I touch them or move or sit. I recently had a pap and it came back abnormal so my dr. did a coloscopy. The results of that said it was cervicitis. This is the 2nd time this "rash" has returned since my pap. I also recently had a baby 3 mo. ago and my tubes tied during the c-section. Last time this "rash" only lasted about 3 days and was about 3 weeks ago. Can you tell me what might be causing this?
