Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
What Causes Swollen And Hard Lymph Nodes In Armpits With Sharp Abdominal Pain?
I have noticed that the lymph nodes under my armpits are swollen and also feel hard. My circulation for the past year has been poor and progressively getting worse. I ve been having headaches recently, also some random sharp pains in my abdomen, and breast. Also I have had some trouble controlling my body odor. I ve never had an issue before, I ve rarely needed deodorant and lately I need to apply it multiple times a day and I still have trouble keeping it under check.
Swelling of the lymph nodes under the armpits are indicative of infection (fungal / parasitic), mononucleosis or HIV. Other medical conditions that may cause such symptoms are lymphedema or breast cancer. You are suggested to get clinically examined by a GP at the earliest (your medical hist will be taken, blood tests, Imaging tests & lymph node biopsy will be done). To get relieve from abdominal pain, take antacids, PPI's or Spasmol, one SOS when required. Your treatment will depend on the severity of the pathology detected.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Nupur K, General & Family Physician
