What Causes Swollen And Painful Neck With Low TSH Value?
I have a swelling on the lot side of my neck that hurts when touched. It is near the lymph nodes I had a thyroid ablation and am on Synthroid and have never had hyperthyroid symptoms. My TSH is always too low but I have never had symptoms despite this It has been low for 20 yrs and my dr just took me off cytomel. I have felt terrible ever since the doc took me off the T-3. Do u think the swelling is related?

It is possible that the swelling is related to the discontinuation.
You may want to have thyroid function tests done to see what your current levels are.
A full blood count and ESR to check for infection or other conditions that may be affecting the lymph nodes should also be done.
If there is no clear indication from these tests then an ultrasound of the neck can take a look at the swelling.
