General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello, greetings! Thanks for posting your query. You seem to be suffering from a condition called as deep vein thrombosis. This includes the formation of a blood clot in one of the deep veins in the leg, most commonly in the calf. It maybe due to the blood getting thick or minor microscopic trauma to the blood vessel. Obesity, major surgery, prolonged bed rest maybe some of the risk factors. The treatment would be to put you on blood thinners like heparin accompanied with pain killers. I recommend you to go to a local general surgeon immediately so that your doses can be adjusted.
