What Causes Swollen Ankles And Feet Along With Low Urine Output?
I have swollen ankles and feet. I have had a decrease in my urine output. I have afib. I took a waterpill today and have only urinated 4 times since taking it at 8:30 this morning. I also feel bloated in my stomach and midriff area. I have had a chest xray in april and another test th@t cost 4,000. They also did an EKG. All the test showed my heart was okay. I have also been very short winded. I have woke up not being able to breath. This has been going on since last week. I went to my family Dr. He said I had an upper respiratory infection. I have just finished a zpack today.
It is good to know that your cardiac tests show normal reports. Swollen ankle and feet occur due to water retention in the body system, being overweight and due to anemia or lymphedema, venous insufficiency or kidney disease. Reduce the salt intake in your diet & maintain weight, do regular exercises. Stay hydrated and maintain the electrolyte balance of your body. Take calcium and iron rich diet. Continue to take the medications already prescribed by your treating doctor & visit ER, get physically examined and all investigations done.
