Morning I am concerned about my 80 year old mother. Her ankles & feet bulge out of her shoes I know she has High blood pressure & something with her heart as she is under a specialist I was wondering what can be done about the swelling as she has problems walking & she is overweight

1. Swelling in the feet and ankle can be because of fluid retention in the body. For that, you need to change her lifestyle as to decrease intake of salt increase in protein intake.
2. Take proper antihypertensive medication given and the doctor.
3. Elevate the legs if you feel pain also along with swelling.
