What Causes Swollen Area In Groin And Painful Thigh Post Hysterctomy?
Hi, I had a vaginal hysterectomy 7 weeks ago. Last week I went into the doctor because I had slight bleeding. The doctor used a nitrate stick to seal some seeping. He is out of the office this entire week and I ve has a swollen area in my groin and a pain in my upper thigh for 3 days. I don t want to be dramatic so I want to avoid going to the ER. Could it just be swollen gland?

It is possible that it is a swollen lymph node in the area, responding to the inflammatory process that occurred last week.
The use of anti inflammatory pain killers may help but if the pain is severe then you may need to see some one
Example of anti inflammatory pain killers are naproxen, ibuprofen, cataflam
