General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

You had a fractured humerus, and no surgery was done. Swelling got worse and now you have developed numbness. You are suggested to get clinically examined, get X-ray and MRI done to study the details.

Swelling is commonly indicative of avascular necrosis, fracture / non -union that needs to be fixed by surgery, plaster, etc. You may need a sling or support to avoid swelling around the injury. Do not let your affected arm keep swinging down. Keep it at rest. You may need an immobilizer. Get treated at the earliest.

If fracture is not detected, physical therapy may be recommended under a physical therapist. Please see a physician / orthopedics for evaluation and diagnostic imaging. Your headache and dizziness is better, do continue to get the gentle massage.

You can take pain relievers, like Combiflam or Naproxen, one SOS or when required to reduce pain and inflammation. You are also having swelling in the feet. You are suggested to restrict high salt diet, avoid taking salty snacks. Get clinically examined, get required tests and investigations done, get treated.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Nupur K., General & Family Physician
