hi my name is Ian I m 59 and I woke up in the early morning about 3:30ish and my eyelid was swollen, not closed but about half way closed, I recall having an itchy eye while sleeping and doing the 2 fist rub on my eyes, I iced it and it didn t help much, in the morning after being awake for a bit I noticed my lip (mostly upper) tingling. I already have a bit of numbness on the left side of my tongue, I blame that on a left side stroke I had in 2010, I got back all function on the left side, I also have A-fib and a pace maker, and good ol fibromyalgia. It appears to be an allergic reaction to something, I thought it was a spider bite at first, but I can t find a bite mark, I do react badly to bug bites, but have never had a bite on my eyelid. I took 2 allergy tabs (diphenhydramine) I have to drive to a nearby town to my DR or ER, I m trying not to make the trip.My meds have been the same for quite awhile.
