What Causes Swollen Eyes And Bottom Lip?

I just woke up and my face is swollen, ,, mostly my bottom lip and around my eyes. I feel fine and no problems breathing, , never had all of these symptoms at the same time. I have had one or 2 areas such as my bottom lip or one eye swollen, , but never all together. I did put out nitrogen on my pasture yesterday, , although I have been doing this for years and never had any problems, , thanks .....

I have gone through your query and can understand your concerns..

As per your complain swollen face along with swelling of lips that is recurring and has occurred previously also seems to be probably due to allergic reaction to any unknown irritant and it can be due to any food or medicine while can also be due to other causes like any bug bite, skin cosmetics,chemicals in water, poison ivy, trees, grasses etc..

I would suggest you to consult an Allergist and get evaluated and a thorough clinical examination and allergic tests like patch test, prick test, RAST test, food challenge test can help in diagnosis and treatment can be done accordingly..

You can be advised a course of anti allergics like levocetrizine or Allegra, cool compresses over the swelling and also steroid shot of swelling is in excess..
Once the allergen is ruled out avoid exposure to it..
