What Causes Swollen Face And Painful Lymph Nodes Behind The Ear?

I just had some bone shaved away and debrevement of my right shoulder 3 days ago. My surgeon said I have a lot of scar tissue and really bad arthritis. Last night I had a fever and the chills and tonight I ve noticed my face is a little swollen. My lymph nodes are painful and swollen especially under/behind my ear. Is there anything to worry about?

I can understand your concern

after the debridement of tissue , if infection spread to other parts of body through blood, it causes fever and swollen lymphnodes

so I think your surgeon might given some antibiotic and analgesic .plz continue that inaddition to that you can use antipyretic like paracetamol 5oomg for 5 days ..
swelling can be reduced if infection controlled and use serratiopeptidase twice daily for 5 days

don't worry it will subside slowly
dressing is necessary under strict aseptic conditions

ok.please drink plenty of oral liquids instead of diet as it is diificult to chew for few days .ok don't worry
