I have been dealing with kidney stones for a week. After three days of level 10 pain I was hospitalized for 2 days and 2 nights. While in hospital pain stopped suddenly after four days of pain but we never saw a stone. I left hospital on Sunday after being pain free since Saturday night. Monday I woke in the morning to slight pain in flank but after awhile it went away. Again today I woke with slight pain and eventually it went away. An hour ago pain came that was a 7 out of 10. I took 1 hydrocodone 10 mil. Pain went away quickly. 30 minutes later pain returned at level 10. I took another hydrocodone 10 mil. Again the pain left quickly. Too quickly for the pill to enter my blood system. Since last night I have swollen feet & ankles. Woke this morning to less swelling but still swollen. They have remained swollen. Is the swelling related to my kidney issue? I m flying on Thursday for a 3 day business trip. Is it safe to fly? I have made an appointment with a urologist for June 10.
