What Causes Swollen Foot And Rashes On The Throat While On Ciprofloxacin For UTI?
I had a urinary infection I was given medication ciprofloxacin for 3 days - I noticed on my second day my foot (2) got really swollen like edema.....and I noticed it last night. Today I started getting within my body a feeling of tingling and notice my front below my throat is a rash. I decided to Stop taking this medication. My doctor is so busy and I feel I need to go to ER because he won t see me for weeks.....I am diabetic (2) and worried. I am doing exercise on both my legs. should I go to the ER?
You should definitely stop taking Ciprofloxacin and go to ER. You have the rash and swollen foot (tendinitis) side effects as a result of using the antibiotics. You certainly should stop executing for now until you see the ER doctor and get the necessary treatment for all.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
