Hi.
Welcome to HEALTHCARE MAGIC.

I have gone through your query and can understand your concerns..

As per your complain the symptoms seems to be that of Viral infection leading to fever, headache, sore throat and swollen gums..
As antiviral medication are not effective enough to cute the infection therefore the infection will run its course and resolve in about a week..
I would suggest you to take symptomatic treatment like Acetaminophen for reducing fever..
Take Decongestants lile Phenylephrine for congestion..
You can take cough suppressant containing Guaifenesin and Dextromethorphan for cough..
Do warm saline gargles, steam inhalation and use a humidifier in your room..
Apply Antibiotic Oral ointment over the gums along with numbing gel containing Lignocaine..
In case of no improvement in a week consult an Otolaryngologist and get evaluated..

Hope this information helps..

Thanks and regards.
