What Causes Swollen Hands And Discoloration In Fingers After An Humerus Injury?

I broke my left humerus 4 days ago and I'm in a half cast with a wrist sling. My hand is very swollen today. I still have colour in my fingers but my hand is a bit whiter than the other one. Any suggestions how to get the swelling down? I've tried ice and moving my fingers

Hi,
Welcome to Healthcare Magic Forum.
I have gone through your Query & I really appreciate your concern about the problem you are facing.

As a physician I would like to tell you that the swelling will go away with due tome and you need not to worry about anything and keep moving your fingers ass your doc advised you.

I would also suggest that, if the swelling does not subside after 10-15 days from injury, or the fingers starts to turn blue, you should visit your doctor as soon as possible.

Thanks for Trusting & Posting your Query on this forum.
Hope this will help you. Feel free to ask any further question.
Have a nice Day.

Regards,
Dr.Abhijeet
