What Causes Swollen Hands And Itchy Palms After Taking Cholesterol Medication?

Recently my husband 55 had his hand swell and palm severly itch out of the blue.......it has done this several times now and in addition he is getting itching feet no rash he says it feels like it is under his skin. He has had burning feet for some time now neuroligist said didn t know why.... he also takes high blood pressure meds for some time now symptom free, and reciently started meds for high colestorol. Could these be side affects of one of those?

It seems that he might be allergic to this type of medicine producing swelling and itching over the body.
Consult your treating doctor and discuss about this problem.
He might change the medicine or stop this medicine.
