What Causes Swollen Itchy Sores Behind The Ear?

Hi I ve been having promblems with behind both of my ears I ve been to doctors he gave me antibiotics and cream,cleared up for few days keep coming back there swollen itchy very sore now I have little sores on my neck along with both ears my husband passed away last year I m 50 years old I m a barber very concerned could it be stress could I of caught something from cutting hair pls any idea I d really appreaciate

Hello,

If you have itchy red areas behind both ears, this is very likely due to eczema. You can use a combination of hydrocortisone cream 1% and miconazole cream twice a day for 7-10 days.

Normally you should have an improvement in 3-4 days.
If you are not better in 4 days or using this treatment or you are any worse, you will need to see your doctor.
