What Causes Swollen Knees And Bulges Around Sacral Bone While On Lipitor?

my dad has been in and out of doctor offices with minimal diagnosis. he is on Lipitor, prednisone and other rheumatoid arthritis mess. today he has had swelling in his knees, hands and has two buldges around his sacral bone. he is in pain, they took him off Lipitor and ran blood tests, told him to get liver and kidney tests as blood work came out negative. he has a fever and doesn t want to go to emergency

Hello,

Fever is a sign of possible infection inside his body. If not well controlled, should send to emergency or call emergency to take him. He needs a few more specific lab tests together prescription medicines you cannot take without doctor's advice. Swollen knees, and bulges around sacral bone could be related to arthritis he is currently being treated with prednisone and other arthritis medications. I think the therapy should be revised by his rheumatologist and change it accordingly. Try to persuade him and convince to seek immediate medical help.
